Cut-A-Thon

November 5 12-5 p.m. Sunporch Salon

Let’s turn that rat’s nest that you call hair into something spectacular for The Sparrow’s Nest. Come to the Sunporch Salon on Saturday, November 5 anytime from 12-4. The stylists are donating their time and talent. A $15 minimum donation will cover any cut and style for you. ALL proceeds benefit The Sparrow’s Nest.

This event raised over $1500 for us. We’re so thankful for the ladies at Sun Porch and their energy and initiative to help Build The Nest!

RUSH: 5K Run Uniting and Strengthening Families

Save The Date: May 5, 2012

Competitive participants will start at 9 a.m. at Frontier Park with professional timing provided Big River Running. Non competitive runners and walkers will follow. Kids Fun Runs will start at 10 am. Kids events include One mile Fun Run and 100 yd dash, for the kids. $20/person, $50/family, $5/additional participants.  Over $1700 was raised at this event this past year. We hope to double participation and double the proceeds to benefit The Sparrow’s Nest and Bridgeway Behavioral Health. 

Benefit Concert presented by Jon and Anita Clausing and Friends as well as Hart on Strings. May 13, 2011 7-10 p.m. Hosted by Zion Lutheran Church 3866 Harvester Rd. St. Charles MO 63304. A free will offering will be taken. Lutherans for Life are hosting a reception immediately following this free concert. During  free will offering over $3000 was given during this event. Thrivent Lutheran Financial Services matched with $1000 grant. 

GIVE WINGS 30k in 30 Days Campaign

Take up the challenge and join us as we reap the blessings of stepping out in faith and prayers. We will raise 30 K by May 30, 2011. Check out our baby registry page and see what items you can purchase with a safe online donation at our website http://www.thesparrowsneststl.org $33,000 was raised during this campaign. Thanks for your support!

Celebrate Give Wings Success:

We are thanking God in advance for the things He’s going to do in May. Meet us at the Spencer Creek Pavilion on June 4, 2011 from 4-6 p.m. for an old fashioned potluck picnic. Checkers tournament, washers, face painting, sno cones and PRAISE!

Save The Date: September 28 MidRivers Golf Links Noon.

Put together a foursome and join us for a fun golf outing to raise funds to Build The Nest for The Sparrow’s Nest. Cost $90/player includes lunch. Cash prizes for top 3 teams. Register at http://www.thesparrowsneststl.org under the Sparrow Scramble tab. This event raised over $3600 this year!!
